phos — privacy
phos is a meditation and breathwork app for personal practice. Your data is your own. We collect nothing.

All data lives on your device:
- Practice statistics — session durations, dates, breath cycles, streak data
- User preferences — selected meditation durations and breathwork patterns
We do not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers.
With your explicit permission, phos writes “Mindful Minutes” to Apple Health after each session. This data:
- Is controlled entirely by you through iOS Health permissions
- Never leaves your device without your consent
- Can be deleted at any time through the Health app
- Personal identification information
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking
- Contact information
- Device identifiers
- Any data transmitted to external servers
phos does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Your practice statistics sync securely between your Apple devices using your private iCloud account. This data:
- Remains encrypted and private to you
- Is never accessible to us or Apple beyond standard iCloud infrastructure
- Can be disabled at any time in device settings
- All data is stored locally on your device
- You can reset statistics at any time within the app
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data
- Health data can be managed through Apple Health settings
phos does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access your data — all stored locally on your device
- Delete your data — via app settings or uninstalling
- Export your data — coming in a future update
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected here and in the app.
